"We are excited to be part of the Ryder Cup Experience this year. When the PGA of America hosts the 37th Ryder Cup at Valhalla Golf Club September 16-21, the Commonwealth of Kentucky and Metro Louisville will host The Cup Experience - an all-out, jam-packed, community-wide celebration."
Our theme is Celebrating the beauty and grace of our Senior residents and Unique homes this year. In conjunction, this year, the Festival has chosen Gilda's Club of Louisville and GuardiaCare of Louisville to be the recipients of a portion of the Festival proceeds. In addition, the Fleur de Lis Garden Club will have a Garden tour on Saturday to highlight some of our delightful gardens hidden within our community.” Some of the bands slated to perform include: Leigh Ann Yost, Ladybirds, Danny Flanigan & Rain Chorus, John Gage, Shannon Lawson, Brigid Kaelin Band, Peter Searcy, and Love Jones. The Fixx Salon will present a Style Show at 7:15 featuring some people you might know! Don’t miss out on this great community event!

Halfway to St. Patrick's Day
The Ancient Order of Hibernians is teaming up with BBC to throw their annual Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day party at O’Shea’s! On THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18th O’Shea’s will host this great event which includes live music from The Derby Boys, Irish food specials and the Blessing of the Keg! Brendan's Oktoberfest
On Saturday, October 4th they will be rolling out the barrels at Brendan’s! Be sure to join us for this annual event where you can enjoy traditional German music, German-themed lunch and dinner specials, lots of swag from German breweries and (best of all!) the entire staff dressed in traditional Oktoberfest costumes! This year the party is sponsored by Spaten so there is sure to be plenty of great Bavarian brews on tap!
